The IELTS stands for The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and it is used to measure the language proficiency of people. IELTS exam is taken by those candidates who wish to study or work in an English-speaking nation. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly defined levels of language proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9). IELTS is of two types – IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. If you are doing IELTS preparation in Delhi then you can visit the British IELTS Coaching Institute.
The IELTS Academic test is for those candidates who wish to apply for higher education or professional registration in an English country. This version of IELTS takes into consideration the need of the institutions in terms of the required skills. If an institution, a university or a professional organization, invites international students for higher education or international professional to be part of their senior management, it has a very different requirement. This requirement is not general in nature. It requires such skills in candidates that he or she can handle the academic language and IELTS academic assesses whether you are ready to begin studying or training. IELTS academic is widely supported by the institutions that recognize IELTS.
The IELTS General Training test is for those candidates who are planning to go to an English-speaking nation for secondary education, work experience or training programs. IELTS general training is different from the IELTS academic in the sense that it focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. Here survival is not to be taken in the literal sense. Rather, it must be taken in a practical sense. How? Say a person wants to migrate to USA and he doesn’t have the basic required knowledge of English he won’t be able to survive in the social context. He won’t be able to communicate with people. The IELTS general training assessment ensures that the candidate is able to communicate in various social contexts.
Many aspirants who want to go abroad approach us. But we find that many of them are comfortable with listening international English. They can read English newspaper and speak English but cannot understand international English i.e. movies, songs, international news channels etc.
We use many training techniques to help an aspirant overcome a big stumbling block in the form of listening international accent. After a few days’ of coaching they start becoming comfortable with the various accents used in English language.
When you visit an English-speaking nation you need to express opinions and thoughts in English. Aspirants, often, have these queries, “I speak English since my childhood. Do I also need IELTS coaching”? The simple answer is that when we have a conversation with people speaking in same dialect it may be easy to do this conversation. But when you talk to a person with British accent or Australian accent, you may find it challenging in two ways. The objective of IELTS coaching is to be able to convey your thoughts to an international audience.
It is inevitable to avoid written communication while one is living in an English speaking nation. One may face various situations where he/she may have to write formal letters to various institutions – government offices, university, embassies, etc. in all such cases, it is necessary to write correct formal English. The IELTS Writing module’s objective is to assess a candidate’s writing capabilities on a wide range of topics. There are two different types of the IELTS writing – IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. We have expertise in both the modules of writing. The subject matter of the two types of tests is different.
IELTS reading also has two versions – Academic and General Training. The subject matter of both the sub-modules of reading is different. We provide professional training to the IELTS candidates who want to study abroad or work abroad, in both the modules of writing.
